Massage is one of the few positive things we can do for our health that feel wonderful the moment it is begun. How often have you tried to begin an exercise program or new diet plan that was just an awful experience? Sure, once the weight has been lost, or the blood pressure has been lowered, it's all worth it. But unlike these other health improving programs, the only sacrifices required by massage are a little time and money. Oh, yes, you should also drink plenty of plain water within the 6 hours after a massage. After I've worked that many toxins from your muscles, your kidneys could use a little extra water to help get rid of it. You might as well get your money's worth.

I am open Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. I will come in and open the shop other days/hours for an additional $5.00.

Walk-ins are welcome, but I suggest that you call ahead to see how long the wait will be. After all, massages are usually 1 to 2 hours, so if you come right when one starts, you'll have a long wait. If I'm with a client and you get the answering machine, please leave a message. There's a chance that there was only 10 minutes or so left on my current client's massage, so I may call you right back. Mondays and Thursdays are busiest, but even then I usually have room for an hour of unscheduled afternoon massage.

Prices are as follows:

$35.00 per hour for a table oil massage. Walk-ins welcome. 1, 1½, and 2 hour sessions are available.

$10.00 for every 15 minutes of chair or foot massage. Walk-ins welcome

Prepaid packages are an even better deal at only $30.00/hour! $120.00 for (4) 1 hour sessions, $190.00 for (4) 1½ hour sessions, and $260.00 for (4) 2 hour sessions. Pre-paid sessions are by appointment only. Not coming to your appointment still uses up a pre-paid session. No walk-ins on pre-paid sessions.

Proctor Massage is conveniently located in downtown Proctor at 204 3rd Ave. (HWY 2) Proctor, MN. beside Casino Pizza. There is plenty of on street parking available, usually right in front of the door.

If you have been thinking of starting your own massage business, Proctor has no permit or certification requirements. This can save you quite a bit of money over the expensive and restrictive requirements in the surrounding communities. I have 2 treatment rooms for rent. These treatment rooms are furnished with 2 shelves, 2 coat hooks, a chair for clients to sit on to put on their shoes, clock, box of Kleenex, and a massage table. This generously sized massage table's height can easily be changed from 20" to 34", has a fully adjustable face rest, arm rest, and fitted linens. There is a sink, mirror, microwave, coffee maker, and small refrigerator available for your use, and rest rooms are located down the hall.

Treatment room rents are as follows:

Rental of a room for 3 days a week is $175.00 per month, 4 days a week is $250.00 per month, and to have a room completely to yourself, that you can decorate as you wish, is $300.00 per month. You can even paint it or change the carpet! My landlord is very reasonable about such things, as long as he doesn't have to do it.

There is a $25.00 key deposit. Massage chair rental is included in the monthly rent, and is $5.00 per session for hourly renters. To take a massage chair from Proctor Massage costs $25.00 per day, and requires a $50.00 damage deposit. Massage chairs are expensive!

First month's rent is free with a 1 year lease contract!
