Welcome to Kathy's $175.00 MN massage seminars. Are you good at giving backrubs? Then why haven't you started your own business? MN hasn't licensed massage therapists, nor required any minimum schooling since May 11th, 2000. So why not join the massage practitioners who charge up to $80 an hour in the Duluth area? (Please note, while MN doesn't license therapists anymore, it still has regulations that must be complied with. There are also county health service sanitation regulations and sales tax laws that must be followed. Local governments can and often do impose their own requirements. As far as I know, Duluth, Cloquet, and Hermantown all require formal training to obtain a permit. Proctor doesn't, and last I knew, Esko, Carlton, and Wrenshal don't either. If you live in an area that does require training, you can rent a treatment room in an area that doesn't, like one of my 4 rooms in Proctor.) You can even start this business while on unemployment and still looking for work! Call Kathy (218) 590-7981 or email office@foxesfarm.com today. If you’ve been looking for work, or just a new career, massage therapy may be just the ticket. How many new careers are there offering $25.00 to $80.00 an hour without investing time and money in school? Massage certification courses typically take a year of your life and up to $7,200.00 to complete. It’s no wonder that the city of Duluth, which is the home of two such schools, requires 500 hours of training before purchasing their $75.00 permit. I did, and I'll show you how to do so too in these two day seminars. If you are already good at massage, I can save you up to $7,000 and a year of school. Seminars are any Saturday and Sunday you'd like to schedule one. If there is just one person, we can go over everything in just one 10 hour day if you're pressed for time, your choice of Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. If you live over 100 miles from Duluth, I'll be happy to conduct a seminar in your area for 2 or more people if you provide the place to hold it. A remote session costs an additional $50.00 total (Not per person.) travel fee for every 100 miles away from Duluth I have to drive to help cover gas and a room. I'd like 2 weeks notice to use my experience to research local/county regulations and find a motel. Such a session may be held Friday through Sunday, your choice of days. You may even do this while on unemployment. If you find a job before you build this up to a full time business, you can always quit or just massage part-time. I tell you, having a job that is only a few hours a week but pays $25 to $80 per hour is sweet, even if it's just on the side. (Two hours a week at only $30.00 per hour brings in $60.00 per week, or the equivalent of $1.50 an hour spread over a 40 hour week. A $1.50 raise for 2 hours of overtime a week would be something I'd jump at these days.) I do not teach massage itself, just how to legally charge for it in MN, and the practical lessons and tricks of starting a successful massage business I've had to learn the hard way. All sessions must be paid at least 2 days in advance so that I can set up the equipment and materials properly. Everyone attending this seminar receives a copy of my book on how to start a massage business in MN. Click here to buy just the book. This seminar costs $125 to attend. Seminar and first month's rent is free with the signing of a one year lease of a treatment room for $200 to $350 per month at Proctor Massage, table and linens included. Payment can be made in person at Proctor Massage, or buy it now with PayPal. Click here for full rental details. (Bottom of that page.) Know someone who's good at giving backrubs? Give the gift of a career! $600.00 - 1 portable massage chair, Seminar, Supplies to conduct 100 massages, 500 business cards, 2 magnetic signs for your car, 100 personalized copies of the MN Client's Bill of Rights, and 50 gift certificates. An $800.00 value! This should get them off to a good start. |
